The Jefferson County Democratic Committee (JeffDems) held its Annual Picnic on Sunday, Sept. 10, at Nick Gianvito’s Camp, on the outskirts of Punxsutawney. Close to 30 Dems attended and enjoyed some good food and good convos with like-minded, Jefferson County Dems. The food was varied and plentiful and the picnic is always a great way to meet new friends and become more involved with your Democratic Party.
Nick prepared his usual Italian specialties, sauce, meatballs, sausage with peppers & onions, while each Dem brought some great home-cooked foods & desserts, to round out the (ongoing!) meal. Some adult liberations were enjoyed, as well.
While the forecast was for rain, the day started out cloudy, then the Democratic gods above shined on us, as the sun came out and provided a lovely day for all the attendees. With this relaxing event behind us, we can focus between now through November 7th, on getting our State, County, and Local candidates elected!
